| I own Brodure, Luongo and Quick.
Carey Price and Cam Ward are both available in my league. Do you reccomend owining either of them over Quick? |
| I would probably go with Price over Quick, as long as your league counts other goalie stats other than wins (like GAA, SV%). Pound for pound, Price is the better goalie of the two, and his stats will be better. Quick plays for a team that scores more goals, so he and Price should be fairly even in terms of wins. But Price's better individual stats make him the better overall pick. -Mark |

| Yahoo head to head league 7 keepers rest are drafted.
I like the way Bergfors is playing for NJ and he looks like a good long term RW. biggest team weakness is Power play points. But who to drop is the question or is there no upgrade here?
Perry
Ryan
Justin Willaims
Fleishmann
Thanks for the help. Mike |
| Perry, Ryan, Williams, Fleishmann all playing well and contributing about as much as can be expected. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. -Mark |

| I'm in a 12 team keeper league. 3 full lines, and 2 goalies, with 2 utility. Keep any 7 players. We have a large category list including Hits & PIMS. Should I trade Havlat and Cammalleri for Hartnell and Backes? I already have Kovalchuk, Semin, Lucic, Blake and Whitney at LW. At RW I have Kessel, Cleary, Knuble. Overall I am very strong in net and have plenty of scoring I am near the bottom in HITS and PIMS. I just hate trading such skill for garbage. |
| I like the idea of getting rid of Havlat right now, and getting Hartnell in return, but I'm not crazy about you letting go of Cammalleri for Backes. I think Havlat has a better chance of turning things around than Backes does, so to me this deal has more downside for you than upside. I would give this a pass. -Mark |

| Derek Roy is available in our Yahoo Rotisserie league, I'm thinking of letting Eric Staal go but it is really hard to do. Would you just suck it up and keep Staal on the roster?
Sith Lord |
| I think Roy's a good bet for 75+ points, which is about all Staal would have gotten you this year if he played a full season. I would go ahead and make the switch. -Mark |

| Beginner here.....
I need help in the goals cat.
Should I pull the add / drop for any of the below and if so who do you suggest I drop.
I'm thinking about picking up Holmstrom and/or Mike Knuble . RW's I own are: Bobby Ryan, Lupul, Iginla and Briere who qualifies for C too. 2 RW's play each week.
Also considering picking up Antropov (qualifies as C & RW) C's I have are (2 play): Thorton, Sedin, Briere.
I guess I could drop a defenseman. 4 play. I own:Lindstrom, Rafalski, Zidlicky, Rozsival, Ohlund and Barker.

| Hi Greg.
I'd pick up Knuble. He's off to a great start with the Caps and should ride shotgun to Ovechkin when he comes back. I'd drop Lupul. Absolutely never drop Iginla unless he's hurt for the year.
I'd also roll the dice on Antropov, though it'd be nice to see him score more goals. You can drop Rozsival or Ohlund. Even if the Antropov move doesn't pan out, those blueliners are easily replaceable.
Hope that helps.

| Hard to project where Modano will play once he returns from injury, but I think he will be mostly a third line checking center with some PP time thrown in. I don't think he's worth picking up given his reduced offensive role on the team. However assuming Visnovsky kicks his bout of the swine flu, he's probably a better play on your roster than White. -Mark |

| Hi, quick question...iIhave laich, kesler, savard and roy...at center.. debating on dropping roy for fisher or belanger....I m thinking i guess i should wairt for ruy to pick it up...but impatients is lingering Thanks nigel |
| I would hang in there for awhile longer on Roy. Buffalo can be an explosive team offensively and Roy is usually right there in the mix when they get things going. First line center 5-on-5 and on the PP. I would be patient. -Mark |
